I’ll admit it…I’m a sucker for late night infomercials. Maybe it’s the amazing product demonstrations, maybe it’s the unbelievable “Buy one, get three free!” deals they offer, or maybe that it’s simply that there’s nothing else to watch when I’m hit with a bout of insomnia. I’m consistently lured in by the idea of collapsible clothes hangers, spinning hair straighteners and ShamWows. Needless to say, I have countless 3:00 a.m. charges on my credit card and a closet full of useless products to show for it!



Except one.



One sleepless night, I found myself engrossed in an infomercial about the Shark Steam Mop. I was blown away with the idea of a mop that cleans with just the power of steam. The Shark Steam Mop comes with the mop itself, two washable micro fiber pads, and a measuring cup and funnel for adding water. Upon first impression, I was impressed with how light it was. Weighing in at under three pounds, it was easy to maneuver as well as carry up and down stairs. In addition, it was ready to go within thirty seconds of plugging in. I was able to clean four rooms and one hallway with just one reservoir of water without needing to refill. The best part, in my opinion, is that my floors were immediately dry after use. No more blocking off rooms and waiting a half hour before entering again! Lastly, the Shark Mop not only cleans floors, it also sanitizes them without the use of harsh chemicals. This makes it great for households with both pets and infants alike.



I’ve been using my Shark Mop for about two years now, and I consider it one of my best household purchases to date. With multiple versions of the steam mop on the market today, I would advocate for the original as I firmly believe it’s the best out there. It works just as well today as it did the day I bought it.
